East Syracuse Minoa Central School District Pine Grove Middle School
The East Syracuse Minoa Central School District adopted a five year strategic plan that embraces the District’s vision and mission with a focus on 21st Century learning. In preparing students for a global society, 21st Century learning integrates critical thinking, problem solving, innovation, self-direction, communication, collaboration and technology skills into all core subjects.
The ESM District consists of approximately 3,800 students prek-12 and encompasses one early childhood center with a universal prekindergarten, four elementary, one middle and one Comprehensive Central High School. Our team provided architectural services for their five-year building conditions survey as well as an upcoming Capital Project at their middle school, which will include an addition and renovation work. The District’s vision for their middle school is to encompass green technology as well as 21st century design. A $29.4 million referendum passed in December 2012.
