The redesign of this 9,000 sf medical office suite aimed to provide improved spatial and functional efficiencies and an updated material palette for the staff, patients, and visitors of this space. The client asked for a large centrally located nurse station, which would serve nurses for the 6 corresponding providers. Updated finishes would give the space a more modern feel, including natural accents in the waiting/reception area. A dark luxury vinyl tile (LVT) used on the floor was chosen to provide clear wayfinding throughout the space, as it directs patients to the check-in desk and through the corridors of the suite. The new reception desk improves visibility and flexibility, as well as responds formally to the angled entry doors of the suite. The large stone wall and signage welcome patients and provide a clear point of contact for this health provider.
