Bringing Care Closer to Patients
This 2,500-square-foot renovation transforms an underutilized wing on the fourth floor of Rome Hospital into a dedicated Cesarean Delivery Suite directly adjacent to the existing Maternity Unit. By relocating cesarean deliveries from the hospital’s general operating rooms to the maternity floor, the project creates a more seamless, patient-centered care experience while improving clinical efficiency and staff workflow.

Supporting Families Through Thoughtful Design
In addition to the new surgical suite, the project renovates the existing Maternity Waiting Room to create a warm, calming environment for families and loved ones. Together, these improvements enhance the continuity of maternal care, strengthen connections between patients, families, and caregivers, and provide a welcoming setting during one of life’s most significant moments.
