A Renewed Home for Buccaneer Athletics
As part of the Oswego City School District’s $63.1 million Capital Improvement Project, improvements at Oswego High School included the creation of a new athletic complex designed to better serve student-athletes, spectators, and the community. Alongside critical infrastructure upgrades throughout the campus, the project introduced modern indoor and outdoor athletic facilities that strengthen school pride while supporting year-round competition and events.
A Modernized Complex for Competition
At the heart of the project is the new Buccaneers Stadium Complex, anchored by a multi-purpose artificial turf field designed to accommodate a wide variety of athletic programs and community activities. New field lighting, a modern scoreboard system, expanded bleacher seating, and an upgraded press box create a game-day experience that supports both athletes and spectators while providing the flexibility to host larger events.

Supporting Athletes and Events
The project also introduced new support facilities that enhance the day-to-day operation of the athletic complex. A new concession building, adjacent restroom facilities, and dedicated locker rooms for teams and officials provide convenient amenities for athletes, officials, and visitors alike.
A new concession building with a commercial kitchen improves service during events.

Inside the high school, reconstructed locker rooms provide modern, durable spaces that better support student-athletes before and after practices and competitions, complementing the new outdoor facilities with updated accommodations designed for long-term use.

Together, the renovated athletic facilities establish a cohesive destination for competition, school events, and community gatherings, providing Oswego High School with modern spaces that support Buccaneer athletics for years to come.
